Alexis Hair Experts is a full-service hair replacement studio and salon in North Toronto. We are best known for non-surgical hair replacement, custom wigs, and a complete range of styling services for men and women.
Each stylist has their own private station to ensure your privacy and comfort while you’re in the salon.

Alexis Hair Experts has been family-owned and operated since 1967. We are proud to have served multiple generations of Torontonians who continue to trust our creativity and innovation in hair technology and style trends.
When you visit the salon, you will always hear us bouncing ideas off one another, telling stories of our lives, and laughing—LOTS of laughing! We are best friends, colleagues, and a close-knit team that is passionate about what we do. We love our work almost as much as we love our clients, and it shows.
Helen
Helen’s father opened Alexis Hair Experts in 1967.
Today, she carries his legacy forward, maintaining the high standards of quality and service the business is known for. Helen joined Alexis Hair Experts in 1990 after earning her cosmetology license from Marvel Hairstyling School.
She became a partner in 2000 and continues to seek out new, innovative, and natural-looking solutions in hair replacement.
Helen has a genuine talent for making people smile, and when she’s not at the salon, you will find her spending time with her family (the thing closest to her heart), working out, volunteering at her local church, and spending lots of time with her girlfriends, dancing to ABBA!
Suzanne
Suzanne has always played with hair.
She was cutting her own hair at the age of two, and by the time she was 12, she was styling hair for her friends.
When she was old enough, she enrolled in Marvel Hairstyling School, going on to an apprenticeship at Michael Vincent Hair Studio in London, Ontario, where Vince himself mentored her!
Suzanne started working for Alexis Hair Experts in 1997, and Larry and the team trained her in advanced hair replacement techniques.
She is a consultant, hair replacement technician, and hairstylist.
She loves doing colour and transforming hair from thin to fabulous!
She became a partner in 2015.
A busy mom of two energetic kids, Suzanne loves gardening, dinners with friends, long walks with her dog, and discovering new delicious gluten-free and dairy-free recipes.
Melissa
Lina
Melissa is a colourful soul who works hard and lives life to the fullest!
She is an exceptional colourist who excels in balayage and ombre techniques and is also an excellent hair replacement stylist.
Melissa loves to travel and is a big music lover who loves going to concerts and festivals all over the world.
When she isn’t helping her clients feel more confident and beautiful, she and her husband enjoy going to the gym, cycling, or taking their two dogs on long walks.
She is passionate about rescue dogs and animal welfare and is known by her friends and clients to be kind, compassionate, and full of joy.
Lina is our salon coordinator and does a great job of keeping us all organized and our clients informed.
She has an incredible memory and LOVES telling us all what to do! Lina is a new Mom and is currently on maternity leave.
She loves Disney, crafting, and has a childlike curiosity that is incredibly endearing.

Alexis
Our Legacy
Alexis Hair Experts was founded in 1967 by Larry Vasiliadis. Larry is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and an avid golfer—as well as a fantastic mentor! He is a three-time winner of the trophy for Artistic Ability, awarded by the Guild of Hair. He retired in March 2020, but most days, you’ll still see him hanging around the salon as he lives just around the corner!

Love this place!! Always welcoming and friendly. COVID precautions in place and strictly enforced. Drop off and pick up service is available and the price paid for service is very good value. Check them out you won’t be disappointed. Thanks Alexis.
